Roasts from £15.95 at Cuxton, bottomless Yorkshires at Chatham's Command House, and riverside roasts at Upnor: 8 Medway Sunday roasts with prices and times.
The Sunday roasts most Medway people look for are by the water: the Command House beside Chatham’s Riverside Gardens, with bottomless roast potatoes and Yorkshires; the Ship and Trades at Chatham Maritime, carving a sharing roast at the table; and the two Upnor pubs, the Tudor Rose and the Ship. Every entry was checked against the venue’s own website on 25 October 2026.
We have not eaten at these places for this guide, and none of this is a review. Each entry gives what the pub or restaurant says about its Sunday lunch and what it publishes about prices, times and booking. We have added the Food Standards Agency hygiene rating, and we say where any other fact comes from. Prices are as shown on the venues’ menus on 25 October and change often. Almost every venue here asks you to book on Sundays.

How we chose
We started with the Medway pubs and restaurants that come up again and again when people look for a Sunday roast, in public booking listings and local guides. We kept only those whose own websites say they serve a roast on Sundays and publish their menus, times or booking details, so each entry could be checked. Several well-known pubs were left out because we could not find a current website for them, or because the site showed placeholder prices. Every place here has a Food Standards Agency hygiene rating of 3 or above on the FSA register, checked on 25 October 2026. Our Medway food hygiene ratings story covers the borough’s ratings in full.
